Compares charter calling for murder of Jews to Declaration of Independence By Aaron Klein © 2008 WorldNetDaily Hamas leader Mousa Abu Marzook | JERUSALEM – Sen. Barack Obama's Chicago church reprinted a manifesto by Hamas that defended terrorism as legitimate resistance, refused to recognize the right of Israel to exist and compared the terror group's official charter – which calls for the murder of Jews – to America's Declaration of Independence. The Hamas piece was published on the "Pastor's Page" of the Trinity United Church of Christ newsletter reserved for Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr., whose anti-American, anti-Israel remarks landed Obama in hot water, prompting the presidential candidate to deliver a major race speech earlier this week. Hamas, responsible for scores of shootings, suicide bombings and rocket launchings against civilian population centers, is listed as a terrorist group by the U.S. State Department. The revelation follows a recent WND article quoting Israeli security officials who expressed "concern" about Robert Malley, an adviser to Obama who has advocated negotiations with Hamas and providing international assistance to the terrorist group. In his July 22, 2007, church newsletter, Wright reprinted an article by Mousa Abu Marzook, identified in the publication as a "deputy of the political bureau of Hamas." A photo image of the piece was captured and posted today by the business blog BizzyBlog, which first brought attention to it. The Hamas article was first published by the Los Angeles Times, garnering the newspaper much criticism. According to senior Israeli security officials, Marzook, who resides in Syria alongside Hamas chieftain Khaled Meshaal, is considered the "brains" behind Hamas, designing much of the terror group's policies and ideology. Israel possesses what it says is a large volume of specific evidence that Marzook has been directly involved in calling for or planning scores of Hamas terrorist offensives, including deadly suicide bombings. He was also accused of attempting to set up a Hamas network in the U.S. Marzook's original piece was titled, "Hamas' stand" but was re-titled "A Fresh View of the Palestinian Struggle" by Obama's church newsletter. The newsletter also referred to Hamas as the "Islamic Resistance Movement," and added in its introduction that Marzook was addressing Hamas' goals for "all of Palestine." In the manifesto, Marzook refers to Hamas' "resistance" – the group's perpetuation of anti-Israel terrorism targeting civilians – as "legal resistance," which, he argues, is "explicitly supported by the Fourth Geneva Convention." The Convention, which refers to the rights of people living under occupation, does not support suicide bombings or rocket attacks against civilian population centers, the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America noted. Marzook refers to Hamas' official charter as "an essentially revolutionary document" and compares the violent creed to the Declaration of Independence, which, Marzook states, "simply did not countenance any such status for the 700,000 African slaves at that time." Hamas' charter calls for the murder of Jews. Among its platforms is a statement that the "[resurrection] will not take place until the Muslims fight the Jews and the Muslims kill them, and the rock and the tree will say: 'Oh Muslim, servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, kill him!'" In his piece, Marzook says Hamas only targets Israel and denies that Hamas' war is meant to be waged against the U.S., even though Hamas officials have threatened America, and Hamas' charter calls for Muslims to "pursue the cause of the Movement (Hamas), all over the globe." Trinity Church did not respond to a phone message requesting comment. Obama's campaign also did not reply to phone and e-mail requests today for comment. Obama aide wants talks with terrorists WND reported in January that Malley, an Obama foreign policy adviser, has penned numerous opinion articles, many of them co-written with a former adviser to the late Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat, petitioning for dialogue with Hamas and blasting Israel for policies he says harm the Palestinian cause. Malley also previously penned a well-circulated New York Review of Books piece largely blaming Israel for the collapse of the Israeli-Palestinian negotiations at Camp David in 2000 when Arafat turned down a Palestinian state in the West Bank, Gaza and eastern sections of Jerusalem and instead returned to the Middle East to launch an intifada, or terrorist campaign, against the Jewish state. Malley's contentions have been strongly refuted by key participants at Camp David, including President Clinton, then-Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak and primary U.S. envoy to the Middle East Dennis Ross, all of whom squarely blamed Arafat's refusal to make peace for the talks' failure. In February 2006, after Hamas won a majority of seats in the Palestinian parliament and amid a U.S. and Israeli attempt to isolate the Hamas-run Palestinian Authority, Malley wrote an op-ed for the Baltimore Sun advocating international aid to the terror group's newly formed government. "The Islamists (Hamas) ran on a campaign of effective government and promised to improve Palestinians' lives; they cannot do that if the international community turns its back," wrote Malley in a piece entitled, "Making the Best of Hamas' Victory." Malley contended the election of Hamas expressed Palestinian "anger at years of humiliation and loss of self-respect because of Israeli settlement expansion, Arafat's imprisonment, Israel's incursions, Western lecturing and, most recently and tellingly, the threat of an aid cutoff in the event of an Islamist success." Malley said the U.S. should not "discourage third-party unofficial contacts with [Hamas] in an attempt to moderate it." In an op-ed in the Washington Post in January coauthored by Arafat adviser Hussein Agha, Malley – using what could be perceived as anti-Israel language – urged Israel's negotiating partner, Abbas, to reunite with Hamas. "A renewed national compact and the return of Hamas to the political fold would upset Israel's strategy of perpetuating Palestinian geographic and political division," wrote Malley. He further petitioned Israel to hold talks with Hamas. "An arrangement between Israel and Hamas could advance both sides' interests," Malley wrote. In numerous other op-eds, Malley advocated a policy of engagement with Hamas. To interview Aaron Klein, contact M. Sliwa Public Relations by e-mail, or call 973-272-2861 or 212-202-4453.
| | | Apart from players and a ball, the game requires THREE ELEMENTS: | | A playing field; | | A will and strategy to win; | | A referee, the whistle blower | |
| | | | God created a playing field, Paradise, and two players in his image (with a body, a soul and spirit), Adam and Eve to play - or actually just to live in this field and manage it. Then Satan came and turned their lives into a competitive game/struggle by giving them a choice to live according to God's rules or to do their own thing. And they fell for it, causing God to have to evict them from this pleasant field to take up the challenge to play in a rough field that they needed to tame while all along fighting against their inclination not to do the right thing. Those who opted in principle not to make a commitment to play according to God's rules became Satan's players, opposing God's players. And this on a playing field that God had to share with Satan. (The football game has the same "components" as God himself, a Body (field), Yeshua; a Soul, the Father, the thinking, feeling One, the heart; The Referee, Whistle blower, the Spirit. This game with its three components plus God's players and His ball represents the Kingdom of God.) The ball represents the TRUTH, that which is in agreement with God's perfect rules for living and acquiring eternal life, as against Satan's lies. Actually, there are two balls in this game since the truth and the lie cannot exist side be side like in the YingYang concept or "Israel and Palestine living side by side in peace and security!" In other words, the players on both sides have a ball they need to get into the other side's goal post and one that they need to prevent from getting into their own goal post. Until one of the sides wins, both balls will remain in the playing field. God's players should play to win, although in love and according to his laws, while Satan's team plays dirty and anything goes for the sake of winning, including playing the man and not necessarily the ball. For that reason his players all leave the playing field with red cards, while God's players retire with honors. Some are carried off on stretchers, of whom some don't survive and join the martyrs who are waiting under God's throne. Soon the situation became so bad that God only had eight players left, Noah, his wife and his three sons and their wives. Consequently he had to destroy Satan's whole team in the flood and start all over again with players from Noah's family's offspring . Satan, nevertheless, managed to establish himself firmly in Babylon, that became the breeding ground for demon worship and a one world system of rule for mankind. God foiled his one-world aspirations by dividing the people into groups speaking different languages that caused them to migrate over the world and set up independent nations speaking different languages. Satan kept on developing his evil doctrines in Babylon and disseminating them over the earth - actually, the different language groups already took these doctrines with them when they dispersed over the earth. And Satan is, of course, still in our day trying to set up his one-world system. God all along had a perfect means of salvation built into himself in that he had a Body who could become human, with flesh and blood, that could be sacrificed to establish salvation by his unblemished blood - since salvation is only by blood. However, he didn't have a playing field of his own with players set aside for his purposes. That is, to practice his rules under more favorable conditions with help from him - as well as to provide a mother from among them to give birth to his Son as a Son of man -- to be sacrificed for the sins of mankind. One who was one of them. For this purpose he took Abram and Sarah from Babylon to go and establish a new nation (players) on a playing field that he promised would eternally be theirs - as well as his own personal inheritance. He built an assurance of victory into them by promising that their nation would exist eternally - contrary to other nations that come and go. His honor is therefore tied up with his ability to preserve this nation, the Hebrews, eternally. The match became limited to Canaan, renamed Israel, the home stadium, from where it spread on a limited scale to some other nations like Ethiopia. It became a very boring football match in which the balls were kicked this way and that way for thousands of years. At one time so many of God's players, the Israelites had walked over to the opposition that God exiled the whole nation, Judah and Israel, back to Babylon, allowing his home field to become desolate with only a small number of Israelites left in it. It is actually a notable fact that his inheritance becomes desolate when the Hebrews don't live in it. We see it even in our day in areas occupied by the Arabs. The "Greenline" got its name from everything being green up to the area that was under Jordanian occupation. The settlers in Gaza even produced masses of vegetables on sand dunes that the Arabs said were cursed. Satan was actually awarded a penalty goal when Adam and Eve chose to do things their own way. He was therefore one point up on God. To catch up, God needed to wait for about 4,000 years after the fall of the first Adam for the right scenario to develop, namely the rise of the Roman Empire, for his Son to be birthed in Betlechem. Then God could score that most classical goal by the death and resurrection of Yeshua. It cancelled Satan's penalty goal in paradise, but it didn't disqualify him from the game. He could keep on playing. The Jews were not disqualified either from their role of being the source of the Gospel and of re-establishing the home stadium in preparation for the return of Messiah - to score his second and final goal in the game and thereby bar Satan from further participation in the game - for a thousand years. In the year 70 CE, however, all but a hand full of the Hebrews had to flee from the home stadium and got dispersed into the nations (the Galut, Diaspora) - where God enabled them to maintain their Jewish identity by subjecting them to laws that they kept slavishly without questioning their legalistic nature. It took nearly 2000 years before the home playing field, Israel, was re-allocated to the home team. It cost God the lives of 6 million Jews in the Holocaust to create a psychological moment in the United Nations in which a fleeting sense of guilt caused the nations to vote in favor of establishing a Jewish homeland in the British Mandate area west of the Jordan River. Although they had to share it with Satan's false claimant, Ismael's seed, it was a beginning towards restoring the home land to the format and size of that of king David's dynasty - in preparation for the ultimate David in his royal line to rule over Israel and the nations. For 2,000 years the Kingdom of God had to function purely on the strength of the Gospel and God's grace without a home stadium. For most of this time the players (church) were kept in total ignorance of the rules of God's game and doctrinal truth due to the Babylonian practise by the dominating powerful Roman Catholic church to reveal knowledge to an enlightened few in leading positions. (They were vitually just playing with Satan's ball.) The Reformation opened the door for God to bring life into the church and to build a remnant of true believers from the nations who could be added to his Kingdom as members of the Commonwealth of Israel. Ephesians 3:6 This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus. Satan managed, however, to divert the majority of the church to Babylonian roots and gnosticism that rejected the Jewish roots of the Kingdom. They therefore belong to Satan's and not the God of Israel's Kingdom. A huge sector of the Jews have also become rooted in the Babylonian model in their thinking and lifestyle and it is these Jews who were behind the re-establishment of Israel and they have mostly subsequently been its rulers. They for sure don't play in God's team, since their agenda is not to restore Israel to a powerful state worthy to be ruled by Yeshua's on his return, but to maintain a weakened multicultural state that will not be too strong to fit in a one world system. God nevertheless used them to re-establish his inheritance for him to resettle his faithful remnant - whom he will use to restore Israel to her former glory under king David. A land we see in Ezekiel 38 in which her people will live in safety and so wealthy that the nations, Gog and Magog and their allies will come to rob her of her wealth. God's hometeam will be so powerful that it will take an alliance of just about all the nations to take them on. It will only be Yeshua's return to fight for them, that will preserve them at that time. How will Israel become that wealthy? It seems that it can only be as a result of the war of Isaiah 17 in which Damascus gets destroyed and Aroer (Jordan) gets emptied out of people, followed by the war in Isaiah 18/19 in which Egypt will be defeated. It is important to note that the struggle for the Kingdom returned to Israel after her re-establishment. It probably set an approximate for the "fullness of the gentiles" to have come in. It make the Jews once again the main players in the game in the run up to Yeshua's return. How ironic, that they need to battle for the restoration of the dynasty of the the ultimate David, before they even know who he is. However, He will reveal himself to them in his time like Joseph did to his brothers. See "...And then all Israel will be saved." (Based on Romans 11:26) What then about the gentiles in this time while Israel is being restored? They should preserve and separate themselves from the apostasy that has taken root in most churches and congregations and start acting in solidarity with the Commonwealth of Israel to which they belong. Psalms 69:34 Let heaven and earth praise him, the seas and all that move in them 35 For God will save Zion and rebuild the cities of Judah. Then people will settle there and possess it 36 The children of his servants will inherit it, and those who love his name will dwell there Rom 9:21-25 Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor? 22 What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, 23 and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory, 24 even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles? 25 As He says also in Hosea: "I will call them My people, who were not My people, And her beloved, who was not beloved." NKJV Amos 9:11-12 "On that day I will raise up The tabernacle of David, which has fallen down,And repair its damages;I will raise up its ruins,And rebuild it as in the days of old; 12 That they may possess the remnant of Edom,And all the Gentiles who are called by My name," NKJV Isa 56:8 For the Lord God who brings back the outcasts of Israel says, "I will bring others too besides my people Israel." TLB See Tribulation Scripturally, the gentiles should also help to restore Israel, the home base of the Commonwealth of Israel, as well as help to re-settle the Jews in it: Isaiah 14:2 Nations will take them and bring them to their own place. And the house of Israel will possess the nations as menservants and maidservants in the LORD'S land. They will make captives of their captors and rule over their oppressors Isaiah 49:22 This is what the Sovereign LORD says: "See, I will beckon to the Gentiles, I will lift up my banner to the peoples; they will bring your sons in their arms and carry your daughters on their shoulders. Isaiah 60:10 "Foreigners will rebuild your walls, and their kings will serve you. Though in anger I struck you, in favor I will show you compassion. Isaiah 61:5 Aliens will shepherd your flocks; foreigners will work your fields and vineyards

| I had a dream that I was at home of my former Pastor. There were a lot of young people there that were college and career age.
There was one guy there who was smoking a cigarette, and I asked him if he wanted to be Delivered from the bondage to nicotine. He said "yes." So I made an announcement to everyone in the room. I said "is there any one here who wants to be delivered from bondage to cigarette smoking"? Several people came forward and we all got into a circle and began to pray. The pastor and his son were also there in the prayer circle.
But our prayer was interrupted for some reason, before we could even get started, and so nobody got delivered.
Then the scene switched. I was going into a grocery store or a Walmart (I think) and I saw the police handcuffing some people out in the parking lot, and putting them into the back of a police van that transports criminals to jail.
I heard someone say "those people are from your Church…" So I went up to one of the police officers and said "excuse me I have to ask, what are these people being arrested for…"?
And he said "for preaching the gospel." I was shocked and I got angry and told the Police Officer that he was wrong for arresting them for that reason. He then took out his handcuffs and began to threaten me with being arrested if I did not stop.
Then I was suddenly back at the Pastor's home and I saw those guys again who had wanted prayer for deliverance of cigarette smoking. I tried again to get everyone in a prayer circle and this time, everyone gathered for prayer. There was one guy missing that had formerly been in the prayer circle. In the dream his name was Ariel. So I called for this guy, Ariel and he came. But he was wearing a woman's skirt, and so I said to him in a loving way.
"Ariel, don't you know that it says in Deuteronomy that it is an abomination for a man to wear that which pertains to a woman, and for a woman to wear that which pertains to a man…God was talking about a man wearing woman's clothing or a woman wearing man's clothing, but he goes one step further and uses the word PERTAINS to a "woman or a man" which means that we are not to mix genders…." He has to put a difference between male and female with regard to the role of the bride and the bridegroom. When he says that there is neither male nor female, Jew nor Greek, he is talking about our inheritance in Christ being equally distributed. But when it comes to our roles, we must make a distinction between the bride and the bridegroom"!
I continued, and got into a preaching mode, as all gathered around to hear me preach: "Why does God tell us this in his word? Because he is a Holy God, and he wants us to be Holy as he is Holy…He gave us the law to teach us how to put difference between clean and unclean, holy and unholy. The reason why the law was given was to show us God's righteous standards. Grace came to give us the power to live up to God's righteous standards without being under the law. But now that the law is written upon our hearts, we are not UNDER it, it is within us! The Law of Moses is Holy. It only brought a curse because of our weak sinful nature. But the cross of Christ broke the curse and now we have the resurrection power living within us, that is to say the Holy Law of Moses now written in fleshy tables of the heart. If we are walking in the spirit, the evidence will be that we will not violate God's Holy law. But if we are walking in the flesh, we will be breaking all of God's laws. But some of you think you are walking in the spirit, but it is a false Holy Spirit. A false Holy Spirit will not put a difference between clean and unclean, holy and unholy. When Peter had that vision on that rooftop in Acts 10, God told him that he had made unclean animals clean by virtue of the New Covenant. This was a metaphor of the uncircumcised gentiles being now made clean through the New Covenant. But does that mean that God now deems unclean, as clean without change, without repentance? No! He made unclean, clean by virtue of the cross and the blood of Jesus. There has to be repentance from violating God's holy law before we can receive forgiveness and become clean. We are not automatically clean without repentance. Jesus will only sprinkle us with his blood when we come by way of the Tabernacle of Moses. We have to offer up ourselves on the altar of sacrifice and receive his sacrifice for us. We have to cleanse our hands (symbolic of dead works) in the bronze laver and see a reflection of ourselves in the water (the water of the word of God). We have to go to the Holy Place and offer up incense (prayers and worship) we have to eat from the table of showbread (the daily bread of his word, the hidden manna). We have to be lit with the fire like that Menorah that burned with the oil. We have to be like that golden candlestick burning with the fire of the Holy Spirit and always filled with the oil that keeps us burning. And only then can we go into the Holy of Holies with Christ and be sprinkled with his blood! Only then does he sprinkle the blood on the mercy seat for us…We can not approach the Holy of Holies without repentance. Any priest who would go into the Holy of Holies unworthily would die on the spot! Beloved the days are coming like Ananias and Sapphira where people will die on the spot for violating God's Holy Law in the presence of the Lord!
That is why he had to wear bells around the hem of his garment. So that if the bells stopped ringing the other priests would know that he was no longer alive. They would then drag him out from behind the curtain by a rope that was tied to his ankle. We are his royal priesthood, church we need to go by way of the cross, by way of the Tabernacle of Moses. If you see the Tabernacle of Moses from an aerial view, you see that it is in the shape of a cross. There is a false Holy Spirit and a false revival coming, church that will not put difference between clean and unclean, holy and unholy. But God is saying though you are an unclean people, I want to make you a clean set apart people, holy sanctified ….He says 'come out from among the temple of idols and be ye separate saith the Lord and touch not the unclean thing, and I will receive you…' He will not automatically make everything clean, we have to go to the cross and deny ourselves daily. We have to go through the pattern of the Tabernacle of Moses. That is the pattern and it will always be the pattern. The false Holy Spirit will never agree with the Law of Moses. But the true Holy Spirit will always agree with the Law of Moses. This is that Mystery of Lawlessness that the Apostle Paul was talking about when he said that it was already at work. This is the spirit of antichrist that will promote a false revival because it promotes a false Holy Spirit that will not agree with the Law of Moses! The Double Portion anointing is that of Moses and Elijah. God will always send Moses before he sends Elijah. We cry out for the spirit of Elijah but we reject the Law of Moses. Malachi 4:4 Remember ye the Law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. 5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: 6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. After this sermon was over, we all got into a prayer circle and began to pray for deliverance. Interpretation of this Dream and further Revelation I had after the Dream The double edged sword is that of the Law & Prophets, Spirit & Truth, Wisdom & Revelation. This is the Double Portion anointing that will rest upon the "Two Witnesses" in Revelation 11. They are the "Two Candlesticks" (Smyrna and Philadelphia Church types) and the "Two Olive Trees" (Judah and Ephraim Ezekiel 37 as one stick - [the Sons of Zion in Zech 9:9-10 - Zionsake]) the two divided kingdoms of Israel coming together. The Two Witnesses are these two groups of people. The Gentile Believers that "overcome" the world and the antichrist. And the Messianic Believers who follow the Law of Moses. These carry the Double Portion anointing of Moses & Elijah typified by Christ's ministry as when he was seen at the Mount of Transfiguration with Moses and Elijah. These "Two Witnesses" carry the anointing of Elijah and Moses and do the same exploits as Moses and Elijah. In my dream, the church would not receive deliverance until there was persecution. When the police were arresting people for preaching the gospel, then they were open to hearing this message I have to preach to the church. The young man in the dream had the name "Ariel" because that name in Hebrew means "Lion of God" and it is another name for Jerusalem in Isaiah 29:1. The name Ariel is the name of New Jerusalem, his Holy City which Jesus said he writes the name of his holy city upon those who overcome (Revelation 3:12).
The young man in the dream represents the unrenewed church because he had the name Ariel like that of the Old Jerusalem, but Jesus wants to give him a new name of the New Jerusalem.
The cigarette smoking has to do with burning false incense or false worship and prayers. The origins of cigarette smoking comes from the American Indians who took tobacco and rolled it up in corn husks and used it as a burnt offering to the pagan sun god. They blew smoke signals to the pagan gods with the cigarette smoke. Burning incense is a metaphor of the prayers of the saints and worship: Revelation 8:3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. 4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand. God had exact specifications for how the children of Israel were to make their incense for the Tabernacle: Exodus 30:34-38 And the LORD said unto Moses, Take unto thee sweet spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum; these sweet spices with pure frankincense: of each shall there be a like weight: 35 And thou shalt make it a perfume, a confection after the art of the apothecary, tempered together, pure and holy: 36 And thou shalt beat some of it very small, and put of it before the testimony in the tabernacle of the congregation, where I will meet with thee: it shall be unto you most holy. 37 And as for the perfume which thou shalt make, ye shall not make to yourselves according to the composition thereof: it shall be unto thee holy for the LORD. 38 Whosoever shall make like unto that, to smell thereto, shall even be cut off from his people. We see from the above scripture, that God says no incense should be burned for ourselves! This also represents us using music for ourselves or any kind of worship medium for ourselves.
Strange Fire is a counterfeit of the presence of the God in the church and it closely resembles the Holy Spirit. Satan, the master counterfeiter is able to mimic some miracles of God the same way that the Pharaoh's sorcerers were able to mimic some of the miracles that God did through Moses. But God only allows Satan to have limited power. Jesus even warned us in Matthew 24:24 that there would be false Christs and false prophets who would show signs and wonders in order to deceive the elect. God is a Holy God and he will not allow his presence to be mixed with idol worship or pagan rituals.
The prevailing attitude in the church today is one of pride, arrogance, and covetousness. This was the attitude in Jeremiah's day in Israel when they presumed to do whatever they thought in their evil hearts to do. Covetousness and a desire for wealth was the motivation for offering incense to the Queen of Heaven and they counted on cheap grace to keep them in good standing with God; Jeremiah 44:17-18 But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil. But since we left off to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, we have wanted all things, and have been consumed by the sword and by the famine. As long as they were sons of Abraham, they saw no conflict with unholy mixture. And such is the attitude today even among the leadership in the church: Leviticus 10:1 And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not. In Leviticus 10:2 Aaron's sons were devoured by the fire of the Lord and they died, because they were disobedient in offering up strange fire or incense which he had already warned them not to do.
God had already warned the children of Israel not to offer strange incense to him in Exodus 30:9: "Ye shall offer no strange incense thereon." In other words, the incense had to be made of the exact spices in which he specified. If they deviated from the formula of incense in which God had set forth, they were committing adultery spiritually before the Lord. The word Adulterate means: to make impure by mixture.
The word strange in Hebrew here in Leviticus 10:1 is zuwr which means: to turn aside, to be a foreigner, strange, profane; to commit adultery.
The Hebrew word for incense is 6999 in the Hebrew Strong's Concordance, qatar which means "the idea of fumigation in a close place thus driving out the occupants; turn into fragrance by fire, (especially by and act of worship) to smoke, offer up burnt sacrifice."
Did you notice what this means? To fumigate the old occupants and drive them out! That means deliverance from demons comes from offering up the right incense to the Lord (Prayers and worship). It has to be made up of the spices that he specifies and the exact proportions that he specifies. There is a divine order to how this incense should be offered up.
In other words, the prayers of the saints cannot be mixed with our own ideas and attitudes. We cannot offer up strange fire that is mixed with wrong attitudes and pagan ideas. Strange fire is a false anointing and a false Holy Spirit that comes from us trying to make up our own composition of incense.
Most in the Church are confusing the Covenant of Sinai with that of Horeb: Galatians 4:24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar (Hagar).
Deuteronomy 5:2 The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb.
2nd Chronicles 5:10 There was nothing in the ark save the two tables which Moses put therein at Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of Egypt. The Covenant of Sinai was broken. But when Moses went up the second time, and came back, that represented the New Covenant which he made at Horeb! The ark of the Covenant is Christ---the Covenant at Horeb!
The day that Moses came down the second time with the Commandments was a prophetic picture of Christ coming with the Holy Spirit.
The Old Covenant was pre-figured with Moses at Mount Sinai, but the New Covenant was pre-figured with Moses at Horeb!
This day was called "Feast of Weeks" (Leviticus 23) because it was 50 days after the first Passover, after God "parted" the Red Sea.
The second fulfillment of the "Feast of Weeks" happened on the day of Pentecost which was also 50 days after the Resurrection of Christ when he "parted" the curtain in the temple.
The New Covenant is the Covenant made with Moses at Horeb, not Sinai by the writing of the Law of Moses on our hearts! Jeremiah 31:33 "But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people." The phrase "New Covenant" does not mean "a totally different covenant", it means "renewed covenant." Jeremiah 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah The Hebrew word here for "new" is 2319 in the Hebrew Strong's Concordance and it means "new, fresh" but it comes from the root word 2318 which is chadash which means "to rebuild, renew, repair."
Aha! So Yeshua came to "rebuild, renew and repair" the Covenant made at Horeb, NOT Replace it!
Why was a "New" Covenant required? Because the old one was BROKEN: Jeremiah 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD Notice that God is talking about the Covenant that the children of Israel broke when they first left Egypt at Sinai! But the New Covenant that he established at Horeb with Moses did not get broken. Christ fully revealed it and "confirmed" it with his own blood (Daniel 9:27, he shall confirm the covenant).
The Old Covenant was "broken" like Yeshua's body was "broken" on the cross. But what happened to his body? It was "resurrected, renewed, repaired" so if his body was broken just like that Old Covenant was "broken" so was the "Renewed Covenant" a "rebuilding, repairing, renewing, resurrecting" of the Old Covenant!
The "Renewed Covenant" can be seen in the fact that the first time Moses came down from the mountain, he found the children of Israel worshipping Yehovah in the form of a golden calf. So he "broke" the stone tablets and made them eat the gold which brought a "curse."
Then he went back up again to the mountain (symbolic of Yeshua's ascension into heaven), and then he came back with what? A "Renewed" set of commandments symbolic of the Holy Spirit writing them on our hearts! Hebrews 8:10 "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people."
Hebrews 10:16 "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them." Sinai in Hebrew is 5514, in the Strong's Concordance ciynay "a mountain in Arabia." The slave woman Hagar had a son that was born of Abraham named Ishmael who went to Arabia. The Covenant of Sinai was the Covenant of Bondage.
Moses went back up the second time to get the commandments and this time, he came back down and established a New Covenant with the children of Israel at Horeb.
Horeb in Hebrew is 2722 in the Strong's Concordance, chareb which means "the Sinaitic Mountains." It comes from the root 2217 to parch to desolate, to destroy, lay waste.
This is symbolic of the cross where our sin was destroyed. This covenant at Horeb represents the cross, the New Covenant!
We have to follow the pattern of "Law & Prophets" in order to make up the composition of incense that pleases Yehovah God. We have to make sure that both elements exist. Both of these elements are throughout the Bible: Spirit & Truth Law & Prophets Wisdom & Revelation Elijah & Moses Anointing The Double Portion The Two-Edged Sword Old Covenant & New Covenant The Crucifixion & The Resurrection The Blood & The Water (that came from his side) Justification & Sanctification (1st Peter 1 the elect have both) Jew & Gentile Israel & The Church Faith & Works of the Spirit (James 2, both makeup Grace) Wise as a Serpent (Law) & Gentle as a Dove (Spirit) We cannot have one without the other. The Letter of the Law kills if it is administered without the Covenant of Grace. The Spirit gives Life and will always agree with the Law of Moses. That is why the Bible refers to it as "The Law of the Spirit of Life."
The Law of Moses gives us the template, but the Holy Spirit gives us the fulfillment! All Law with no Spirit brings a rigid, dry legalistic attitude, and leads to death. All Spirit with no Law brings with it the danger of a Strange Fire and counterfeit. The Cross of Christ & The New Covenant Pre-Figured with The Tabernacle of Moses at Horeb after Mount Sinai -
The The Altar of Sacrifice: Represents the sacrifice of Christ on the cross as the Lamb of God. Here we offer up ourselves to him as a living sacrifice and choose to "deny ourselves and take up our cross daily." -
The Bronze Laver: Here the Priest would wash his hands (symbolic of works). We "work" with our hands and so the washing of our hands has to do with repentance from our dead works. The laver had water in it and so the priest would see a reflection of himself in the water. This is a where we ask the Holy Spirit to "search" our hearts and show us the hidden sins of the heart. We receive cleansing from the old nature by the "washing of water by the word." (Ephesians 5:26) -
The Table of Showbread: This is where we eat the showbread, the daily bread of the hidden manna, the word of God. Jesus said "man shall not live by bread alone but by every word of God." Jesus is the bread from heaven. He is the bread of life. (John 6:33-48) We eat his flesh metaphorically as we live on his daily word. -
The Altar of Incense: This represents the prayers of the saints and worship. (Revelation 8:3-4) We must develop a life of prayer and intimacy with him daily. -
The Menorah: Jesus likened the Seven Churches to Seven golden candlesticks. The Menorah could not stay lit without olive oil. We must be like those five wise virgins (Matthew 25:2) who kept their oil supply full at all times. We must be a "light" in a dark world. Jesus said that we are to be the "light of the world" (Matthew 5:14) as he is also the "light of the world." (John 8:12) -
The Ark of the Covenant: This was place where the Holy Spirit dwelled. In that ark were the Ten Commandments. This is the place where God established the New Covenant with Moses at Horeb and the children of Israel. The Old Covenant established on Mount Sinai was broken. -
The Holy of Holies: This is where the priest would go and sprinkle the blood of the Lamb on the Mercy seat. Jesus is our high priest after the order of Melchisidec and he sprinkles his own blood on that mercy seat for us. (Hebrews 9:19-21, 10:22). You will notice that the Tabernacle is in the shape of a cross. We must come by way of the cross, the Tabernacle into the Holy of Holies. There are no shortcuts. If we attempt to go into the Holy of Holies without this pattern we will die. That is why God protects us from being able to come into his presence lightly.

Thursday, June 21, 2007 by Ryan Jones Christians for Fair Witness on the Middle East (CFW) issued a statement this week harshly criticizing the reaction of Churches for Middle East Peace (CMEP) to last week's military conquest of Gaza by the Hamas terrorist organization. As Gaza fell last week before a bloody Hamas onslaught marked by widespread atrocities, CMEP issued a bland statement calling for an end to “domestic fighting” in Gaza, while at the same time taking the opportunity to demand Israel end its “occupation” of Judea and Samaria and hand over the eastern half of Jerusalem. CFW National Director Ruth Lautt reminded her traditionally pro-Palestinian Christian peers that in just four days of internecine Gaza violence “over one hundred Palestinians were killed... people were thrown off rooftops, children witnessed the slaughter of their parents, [and] corpses were dragged triumphantly through refugee camps.” Lautt concluded that "one would reasonably expect those who routinely complain about Israeli military actions to condemn Hamas with equal fervor.” However, “the statement posted by CMEP seemed designed to convey a belief that the siege in Gaza was a mere diversion from fighting the ‘occupation,’” noted Fair Witness Executive Committee member Dexter Van Zile. “We believe it is irresponsible for Christian voices in the US to be silent on the extent of this brutality while seeming to attempt to focus attention on Israel.” In addition to the general violence in Gaza last week, numerous attacks targeting local Christians and Christian institutions were reported. Those incidents were largely ignored by the Christian world. Wednesday, June 20, 2007 by Staff Writer Palestinian police seized Baptist church during Gaza fighting Behind the crocodile tears Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas shed after Hamas militants sacked a Catholic compound in Gaza City lies the fact that his own men similarly abused and endangered local Christians at the height of last week's civil war. As Hamas forces advanced through Gaza City, members of the Palestinian Authority security forces loyal to Abbas demanded entrance to the Gaza Baptist Church, the only Evangelical church in the coastal strip, in order to use the place of worship as a lookout post. Pastor Hanna Massad told the Associated Baptist Press that when he refused to open the gates, the officers forced their way in and seized control of the church. He later found that Abbas' men had stolen about $4,000 worth of computers and other electronic equipment. International law enshrined in the Geneva Conventions forbids the use of religious sites and places of worship as military positions during an armed conflict, a stipulation that is regularly ignored in the Muslim Middle East. Wednesday, June 20, 2007 by Staff Writer Churches ignore plight of Gaza Christians The World Council of Churches gathered in Jordan on Monday to demand an end to Israel's “occupation” of its biblical heartland, while conspicuously forgetting to make any mention of their besieged Christian brothers and sisters who are now living under strict Islamic rule in Gaza. Following the gathering, the Geneva-based church body that claims to represent some 560 million Christians worldwide announced the launch a global campaign to put as much pressure as possible on Israel to surrender Judea and Samaria to the Palestinian Arabs. “The initiative aims at calling on all churches to work seriously for putting an end to the Israeli occupation of Palestinian and Arab lands [sic],” read a statement released by the council. The conference took place just days after Hamas completed its military conquest of the Gaza Strip and affiliated terror groups warned local Christians to come in line with strict Islamic religious law. And to make sure Gaza's Christians got the point, Hamas-aligned militants sacked and burned a Catholic church and adjacent convent in Gaza City. The World Council of Churches was completely mum on the treatment of fellow Christians by their new Hamas overlords.
