Remember History: By Moshe Feiglin

30 Adar I, 5768
March 7, ‘08

This Shabbat, Jews throughout the world will read the Torah portion,  Zachor, in which we are commanded to remember Amalek and his evil schemes to obliterate the Nation of Israel. But currently, Israel is in the throes of a desperate attempt to erase its history. In doing so, it has lost its internal reference point, leaving it completely dependant on its enemies. Without Judaism, we have no right to be here. We are nothing more than foreigners occupying the land of the Hamas, who are simply fighting a war of independence.

Those who had mistakenly assumed that Israel’s leadership was beginning to understand reality received a chilling wake-up call last week from Israel’s president. “Why do we need to learn history?” Shimon Peres stumped for Education Minister Yuli Tamir’s educational methodology. “Everything is in the computer, anyway.”

I do not think that there is another leader in the world who would dare make such a foolish and dangerous remark. No nation, no matter how young and remote, would demonstrate such blatant scorn for the history of the world and its own, national history. But the king of the Jews - the president of the country that claims to represent the most ancient nation in the world - wants to stop our children from learning history. After all, everything is in the computer and can be easily accessed with the press of a button.

Technically, Peres is correct. The problem is that if history - the foundation on which our culture, heritage and justification for existing in the land rests - is in the computer and not in our heads and hearts, we will have no idea what we are doing here, why we should stay here and suffer, and certainly not why we should fight for this land.

“I hate history,” Peres explains, completely negating the Divine directive to remember history. Everything is in the computer. “And anyway,” he continues, “we live in a world in which territory has no significance.”

The entire post-modern ideology in which everything is virtual is personified by the president of the State of the Jews. Nothing is real anymore. The Land is virtual, the Kassams are nothing more than “Shmasams” as Peres called them and Israel’s policy is nothing more than a spin. In other words, reality is the amount of time that a given item stays in the headlines. Nothing else has any significance. Even pain is no longer real. Luckily for Israel’s leaders, the two soldiers who unnecessarily died in the IDF’s meaningless venture in Gaza last week were killed and not captured. Otherwise, we would have been forced to remember them. Now that they have died, they are nothing more than their mothers’ problem.

Shimon Peres and the rest of the Oslo priests have enslaved us in a language and mentality that have made our reality meaningless. How can we stop the missiles from being fired on Israel when so many of its streets and structures are named after Rabin - the person who, more than anyone, symbolizes the process that has brought this catastrophe upon us?

Israel must free itself of the Oslo mentality. The key is to keep the memories in our heads and hearts - not in our computers.

“And anyway,” he continues, “we live in a world in which territory has no significance.”
This is a really ugly sentence!!!! This man reeks like a one-world zombie who's dragging people down to the pit!
A truly great leader of the people will have a "heart" for the culture and a deep understanding for the plight of the people, and will strive to allow for the people of an area to have the right to self-will..

National sovereignty reaches down to the household level, primarily the ideal is to have each community, precinct or village to make laws according to the needs of the people that live therein. This is the basis of the "IDEAL" of democracy (which never has worked and never WILL work) A true democracy is when every citizen votes for every law that affects their area. No one from miles away makes decisions FOR you based on what THEY think is best for you....{ Of course, in God's Kingdom on earth, [ COME Lord Yahshua!] the laws are already made for us!!}
Someone who lives on the other side of the lake, county, or continent, may have completely different circumstances or values in life, and a ruling jurisdiction that has no residence in the area governed has no right to force laws that may not be able to be physically abided!!
This is why America fought the Revolutionary War against Brittain and EXACTLY why The Southern States Confederacy fought a long bitter, hard war for States rights and against strong centralized government!!! Of course there, the racism card was played diligently and was propagandized to the point of villifying and demonizing the Southern people as a whole (God bless their souls) There is a relevancy I think you should see, Mr. Philip please read http://number227.multiply.com/journal/item/27/Robert_E._Lee_opinion_on_Slavery

{ I could go into the problem of education here because as new as our country is, our heritage and the truth of our beginnings is ALREADY forgotten... probably the less than 1% of people that know this truth are very old, dead or are sitting at home fighting depression! Remember that the nationally printed socialist school books have their own PC portrayal of things as it should be, not as it actually IS or WAS!!} ..back to the article..
The heritage and history of Israel has always been important, and will be center stage of the main events of EARTH until the end of the age, and even after!! To see these leaders "toying" with the people in this haphazard way is preposterous and just like the leaders here, they are "tweaking God's nose" when they mess around with His word, His proposed plan OR His people!!

How foolish is it for a people out of fear to give away their power to those who have no personal concern for them or the ruled masses!.

I also want to say that it is the wiles of the Devil to bring in "multi-culturalism" and call righteous brothers out for "racism" when they are trying to protect their own tender generation of people from RAPE and being used as pawns in an unseen game of chess!! This is maddening

It reminds me of a wonderful patriot here in the states named George Wallage who stood valiantly against forced integration of blacks into the predominently white schools in Birmingham, AL.
It was like Custer's last stand while he stood in front of the school while they called the NATIONAL GAURD out to FORCE him to allow the cute little black girl to go to his school.
I'm sure you know exactly what spin they put on this in the name of "civil rights"... "He was a southern white power hungry racist that didn't want no u-know who goin' to his school"...
The truth is that Mr. Wallace was standing up for the right of the State, If not the County Public school system to make the decision WHEN they were good and ready to allow integration...to force this upon a people from a National level is completely unconstitutional.. And the hideous thought of the government sending troops down to a sleepy little town to force this school to BUS students clear across town just to make a political point is appalling to me!! Of course try to explain this to anyone born after 68' and they give a puzzled look or well up a racist finger pointing exercise they learned in school...!Excuse me for that rant, but my
point here is that the "racist" spin gives power in a strange new way, but it has been used for decades now here.

I do have to say, a lot of leaders are under INTENSE pressure right now from ALL sides in their own government as well as from other "powerful regions and entities".. Even if you tried to it is difficult to stand up when you keep getting hit below the knees! [Of course I am only familiar with my region of jurisdiction and cannot really speak for anyone else (haha)]....So, until I plant myself there where my heart longs to be, I remain,

Lonely in Babylon... DEO VINDICE
